Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Loving my new phone. Was a bit unsure whether or not to pull out that kind of money for a phone but I have not been disappointed.

What a good phone

So glad that I switched from my iPhone 4 to Galaxy Nexus. The screen is brilliant. Ice Cream Sandwich is a very good system. The battery life is not very good though.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I've had an HTC Desire for 18 months (that's about 100 years in smartphone years). I was happy with the HTC but I was finding the screen was getting more difficault to read due to it's small size. I was a bit worried about the size of the Nexus but a friend at work bought one and after trying it for a bit I was convinced that it wasn't too large for everyday use. The screen is awesome. It's clear and bright. The dual core processor makes the phone fast and ICS is a quantum leap forward in Android development. My only complaint was with the delivery of the phone. I used the Royal Mail next business day option and paid an extra £5.00 so that I could get my hands on the phone quickly. I ordered the phone on Thursday afternoon but did not get it until Monday morning. It was delivered at around 7.00 am on Saturday morning to my local depot but not delivered to my house until Monday morning (despite the depot being open until 12:30 on Saturday). If I had know that Royal Mail does not consider Saturdays as a delivery day I would have gone to my local depot and picked it up myself. The extra payment for speedy delivery was a waste of money. This is not the fault of Expansys but of Royal Mail hence the 5 star rating despite the poor delivery service. I would really recommend this phone and Examsys (they had the cheapest price for the phone) but I would not recommend Royal Mail next business day delivery. It's not what it says on the package.
